2016 Nissan Pathfinder

Charles Wiles takes us inside the Nissan showroom to show us the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder.
There are no known body style changes or additions for the 2016 Pathfinder but this beautiful vehicle is still worth taking a look at. The Pathfinder is Nissan's entry into the midsize SUV market and also their entry into the third-row vehicle market. If you want to get a seven-passenger vehicle from Nissan, the Pathfinder is your choice.

All the cool things about the vehicle are inside. Just like most Nissan vehicles, the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder's interior is ergonomically designed for everything to wrap around the driver. Everything is within arm's reach. The monitor screen brightness, navigation system, radio tuning, memory seats and the power-adjustable steering wheel which are available in some of the higher-end packages are all adjustable through the information center with its convenient turning dials and buttons. Between the two gauges, there is a heads-up display. Its controls are conveniently located in the steering wheel along with the other tech features like the steering wheel radio controls, hands-free Bluetooth system and the steering mounted cruise control. The Pathfinder 2016 has all the standard comfort and convenience such as the auto-dimming rearview mirror, the integrated garage door opener called Homelink system, backup cameras, dual zone climate control and automatic temperature control. You'll get to enjoy all these luxury features plus so much more if you get the fully loaded Platinum model.

The remarkable thing about the Nissan Pathfinder 2016 is the simple and easy mechanism of adjusting the second and third-row seats to reveal a massive storage area. A simple lever in each 3rd-row seat and a pull tab on the seat's headrest make the process of folding the seats down and back up again a breeze.

For a seven-passenger midsize SUV, the fuel economy of the 2016 Pathfinder is nothing short of excellent. It will give you an average of 22 mpg up to 26 mpg on the highway. This best-in-class fuel economy comes from a 3.5 liter V6 engine, the same tried-and-true engine used in other Nissan vehicles such as the Murano, Maxima, Altima and Nissan Quest. The V6 engine works with Nissan's patented Xtronic CVT® transmission which gives the limited slip traction control system and intuitive all-wheel drive.
